The hood enclosed her entire head to allow full amplification of her psychic abilities. Normally the glow from the energy is a low dim light barely enough to read titles on instruments in the signums office. Mae trembled in her seat from the psychic power flowing through her as she received the transmission.
Jev Witel was sitting tiredly at his station. The mornings double dose of coffee was doing little to rid him of the effects of the previous evenings battle in the officers lounge with a bottle of wine.
