Hvy weapons: a fig can move next to a downed hvy wpn fig and use their weapon so long as they don't move.
Downed Figs: maybe bump it down to a d6 and if you move a fig to assist (they must remain next to them until game end) and it reduces the result by one level. Or it allows you to roll on a D10 instead, or rerollable the results. If a medic makes contact theme and stays next to them for a turn they reduce the result level by two levels or is auto okay. In this it is a way to have a fig separate from the squad to tend to a fallen troop. They then try to leave the board with them.
Blown vehicles recover with one less hull point on a 5, two less on a 6. Wrecked vehicles recover with one less hull point on a 6. Vehicle damage is only for the next game.
Thoughts?

Hey I'm done with my patio. Now I can internet again!
I like the idea of a downed hvy weapon borrowing, but there's gotta be a penalty, since you're running over to the guy, slinging on a missile launcher backpack (without a servitor to help) and firing a weapon you probably weren't assigned because you weren't so great at it as this guy lying next to you. I think it could be brought down to a snapfire only, no movement.
As long as Downed Figs don't "come back to life," I think they could be assisted in all kinds of ways. I remember old D&D rules that stated that if a character got to another character that was bleeding out, any sort of assistance was better than none. I like the direction of benefiting a member of the fallen squad rather than fighting. It encourages a fluffy player to spend points on "medic - like" troops, cheap and fragile medics!
Is it difficult to think a blown vehicle could be brought back at all? I wouldn't mind seeing scavenging rules, which say you recover a percentage of points? That might be a bit much. I dunno how to handle vehicles without making it seem like too much homework. Could it be simplified, if the vehicle had lasting damage at all (Immobilization, weapon destroyed, wrecked) it comes back next game on a 5+. Modifiers: You "claim" as an objective the vehicle at the end of the game +1, you have a mechanically fluffy character +1, You won the scenario +1. If you fail the roll, "it's in da' shop."

They wouldn't be slinging the pack and everything on, they would just be lifting up the weapon itself and the pack is still attached to the downed fig, the penalty is they can't move. They don't have time or the equipment to change out the comber sum hvy weapon backpack.
For fallen members, I was just seeing if people wanted the roll to have harsher results. Like a d6 instead of the d10. Re-roll allowed if you have a fig split off and tend to them. Or we can just leave it the way we been doing it. It is a risk that you take by not tending to the fallen. Maybe we should leave it be. When the games get bigger I think we will start losing troops on a regular basis.
I want to avoid keeping track of points and such. Replacements are supposed to be immediate with the exception of the severely injured. We are playing with the same 200pts. So I guess since troops are replaced immediately, vehicles would be too.
